Mezuzah

Do you remember the old mezuzah trace at the building near Mały Rynek? Mi Polin team arrived today to Sokolow to make mezuzah cast to their project. It turned out that the building is renovated and the door frame is to be thrown out. Helena and Aleksander rescued it, took it home and now it will be part of their exhibition.

    I remember the day you showed me that door.
    It's a shame that it will not be anymore in Sokolow but at least it will keep as a testimony of our past.

      Soon I will have something better than just mezuzah trace. It will be a real, I guess first made after the war in Sokolow, mezuzah made with the cast of this one. I can't wait to see it!
