"I will never set foot in your town again"

At the beginning of the year, I submitted a petition to the city authorities, signed by descendants of Sokołów Jews, to name the old Jewish cemetery "the old Jewish cemetery" instead of the Polish Red Cross park. The mayor said no. On October 30th, the City Council voted on our petition. All 15 councilors also voted no. Then, a full of hate article about me appeared in the local newspaper. You can only imagine the comments of the readers there.
